WHAT GUIDES US?
Our Vision, Mission and Objective were revised in 2018-2019 over a number of months.
We talked to our students, families, School Council and staff to reach agreement on our goals as a school.
All stakeholders had an opportunity to contribute.
Peranbin Primary College’s vision is to be a community of learners where students thrive.
Peranbin Primary College’s mission is to provide an inclusive teaching and learning environment, which supports all students to be successful community members.
Peranbin Primary College’s objective is to ensure all students leave our school with a practical understanding of the curriculum and the capacity to be successful community members.
Peranbin Primary College’s values are Respect, Integrity, High Expectations and Responsibility. We respect our school, each other and ourselves. We model and demonstrate integrity taking every opportunity to be strong role models in the community. We have high expectations – we try our hardest and do our best. We take responsibility for ourselves, understanding that our attitudes and behaviours have an impact on the people around us.
As a Victorian government school we deliver the Victorian Curriculum. We seek to do this by using well planned lessons based on analysis of our students’ assessments. We also seek to incorporate the unique characteristics of each campus and community into the teaching and learning programs offered.
Our future plans include the creation of hubs at each campus which all of the Peranbin PC students will access during intercampus activities.
Baddaginnie and Swanpool – an Art Hub
Strathbogie – Environmental Science Hub
Violet Town – STEM Hub (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
We seek to strengthen links with each community to deliver a unique curriculum and become the school of choice for families.
